Industrial Designer & Engineer for E-Bike & Accessories – VANMOOF S5/A5 Front Rack

While working in-house as a Senior Industrial Designer at VANMOOF Amsterdam, the Netherlands, I played a key role in the product development of this universal front carrier. Designed to fit both the S5 and A5 electric bikes. The project was an integration of industrial design, mechanical engineering, and user-centered functionality, capabilities I now offer as an independent freelance industrial designer and engineer.

This durable front rack mounts directly to the headtube of the frame and also houses the integrated front light, preserving VANMOOF’s minimalist design language. For added functionality, riders can expand the product with a modular plastic basket and an elastic strap system for securing smaller items.

Made from a combination of sheet metal and bent tubes, this e-bike accessory is designed for direct-to-consumer shipment, easy assembly, and can be installed by the rider
